Ingredients:
- 2 kg chicken (breasts and thighs)
- 500 g potatoes
- 1 cup of lemon juice
- 10 gloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- enough oil for Frying
- For decoration: assorted vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, mushrooms ...)
Directions:
- Wash the chicken very well under cold running water, rubbing it with salt . Pat dry
- Peel the potatoes, and cut into medium size thick circles, then wash thoroughly
- In a saucepan, fry the potatoes until golden brown .Strain on a paper towel to remove excess oil
- Fry the chicken until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, add olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and water
- Leave the mixture on medium heat for 30 minutes until it thickens
- In a serving dish, arrange the chicken and potatoes
- Add the broth (garlic and lemon mixture) and spread over all the chicken and potatoes
- Decorate the dish with assorted vegetables, and serve hot.
