Ingredients:
3 kg fresh spinach /about 4 bundles
½ kg minced meat(lamb/beef)as desired
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon seven spices
1 tablespoon ghee,or vegetable oil & butter
Water and salt,to boil spinach
*Method of preparation:
Clean the spinach and wash it with running water untill it is clean and water is clear,then cut in large pieces .
In a suitable cooking pot ,add a good amount of water and let it boil ,then add salt ,and spinach ,and boil for two minutes,
Strain well,let it cool and then squeeze it .
Mix meat with spices and make small meat balls ,fry meat balls with oil and butter untill well-done ,then add spinach with a pinch of salt ,cook on low heat turning over every 5 to 10 minutes until cooked.
Spinach is served hot with vermicelli rice and garlic yougurt.

*Ingredients:
2 cups Egyptian rice
½ cup vermicelli
3 cups hot water
1 tablespoon ghee or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
*Method of preparation:
Wash rice well,soak for 10 minutes with lukewarm water,then drain well.
Add ghee or oil to the cooking pot ,heat a little then add vermicelli and stir untill it is brown ,add rice over and stir together,add salt and water ,cover the pot ,and cook rice for 20 minutes, until it is cooked .
