Ingredients:
- 400g meat
- 10 prepared kebbe hanks (recipe can be found at our topic)
- 2.5 cups of peeled and diced quince
- 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste /puree
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons dried mint
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Water (for boiling meat)
Preparation:
- In a suitable pot add ghee and stir meat until it starts to change color,then boil meat until it is well cooked
- add tomato puree/ paste, pomegranate molasses, garlic, mint and quince to the cooked meat
- leave the ingredients on the heat until quince is cooked
- add kebbe hanks, allow the pot to boil for a further 10 minutes, so as all ingredients are well mixed
- remove from the heat and serve hot
