Ingredients:
- 1 kilo of potatoes
- 1 tbsp ghee or 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 300 g ground beef or lamb as desired
- 2 tbsp pinenuts
- 1/3 teaspoon 7 spices
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- oil for frying
Directions:
- peel the potatoes, dice into small cubes, wash and strain
- Next deep fry the potatoes untill golden & crispy, strain & set aside
- In a saucepan add the ghee or vegetable oil as desired & saute the pinenuts until golden then remove from oil & set aside.
- in the same saucepan with the left over oil from the pinenuts add the ground beef or lamb over medium heat & saute untill browned
- add the pinenuts over the meat, also adding the fried potatoes, the spices & salt to taste
- Stir in all together for a few minutes untill combined.
- Served hot, next to rice & some refreshing yogurt.
